EVDS held a Family Movie Night in our training room on Friday, February 24 to provide the staff and their families an opportunity to get together and have some fun. We had over 75 kids in attendance enjoying popcorn, cotton candy, treats, prizes and lots of pizza. There were plenty of video game stations and other activities to enjoy along with the feature movie. The kids loved it!!
The week leading up to the EVDS Movie Night was focused on gathering donations to benefit Helen’s Hope Chest (Mesa United Way). Helen's Hope Chest helps foster children with their basic needs such as clothing, school supplies, books and toys. EVDS is currently working with this organization collecting basic needs as well as performing repairs to their structure including roof repairs, re-glazing windows and other miscellaneous repairs.
The evening was a huge success. Everyone had a great time and we collected lots of lots of things to donate to Helen’s Hope Chest.
